28th HOLIDAY WORLD SHOW RESCHEDULED FOR 2022

In accordance with COVID-19 safety guidelines, the annual Holiday World Belfast Show will not be held next year.

Holiday World Belfast which was set to take place over 15-17 January 2021 at TEC Belfast has been rescheduled for 2022 in line with current COVID-19 health guidelines. Business Exhibitions Ltd made the painful decision to cancel the long-running event in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of exhibitors, partners and attendees.

Sister shows, Holiday World Dublin and The Holiday Show in association with Shannon Airport and the prestigious 2021 Irish Travel Industry Awards have also been rescheduled in the light of pandemic restrictions.

Over twenty-eight highly successful years, Holiday World Belfast, incorporating the Caravans & Motorhome Show, has established itself as Northern Ireland's largest and best attended annual celebration of travel, tourism and holiday leisure.  The event features exhibitors from home and abroad, showcasing every type of vacation experience imaginable, from close to home breaks to holidays half a world away, as well as celebrating Northern Ireland’s longstanding love affair with Caravans, Motorhomes, Holiday Homes and Caravan Parks.

Making the rescheduled announcement, Maureen Ledwith, Sales Director of Holiday World Show, said, “It is with a very heavy heart that we have made the decision to rescheduled our 2021 shows but, as organisers, we must of course prioritise our duty of care to our visitors, exhibitors and staff. We understand this will be a huge disappointment to exhibitors and partners, and to our loyal audiences and we thank them for their understanding.

“I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the professionalism, determination and resilience of our travel, tourism and hospitality sectors as they battle against unprecedented difficulties.  Our thoughts are with them and, although we understand that the process of rebuilding and reshaping the industry will be a hugely complicated and lengthy process, we look forward to coming together again in happier times.”

Business Exhibitions is already looking beyond the crisis and starting to plan for the post-COVID future, with 2022 Holiday World Belfast and the Caravan & Motorhomes Show scheduled to take place at the TEC Belfast over 14-16 January. The 2022 Holiday Show in association with Shannon Airport will take place over 8 and 9 January; Holiday World Dublin over 21-23 January and the Irish Travel Industry Awards will be held in Dublin on 20 January 2022.
